Estlin's lengthy tail whipped from side to side- showing his clear annoyance with these creatures. Pathetic slaves trying to act tough, and that other Otter... the one that was not a Slave, too full of himself for his own good- if Estlin hadn't just eaten just minutes before this otter wouldn't even be standing. But a full belly made him a bit more docile... a bit.
"Maybe I am."
Estlin relaxed slightly at the otter drawing his sword. Estlin knew this protective type well- he had been like this otter before. Quick to step in and defend any of his fellows. But he had nothing, none to protect, none to defend. He was a lone reckless killer now but still he understood. However this understanding also gave him a glimpse at what would hurt Rocky most. "I highly suggest," He mocked the otters earlier words, "y'put tha' away. I don' take kindly t'being threatened."
His mind turned to the other thing being expressed by the two otters and the shrew. In essence that he could not judge their skill. This made his grin appear again and be belted out a short laugh. This however, was unreasonable. Clearly he could beat them, there was no use in him replying to such useless words- so he simply chuckled and shook his head. That could be reply enough.
“I might be. Or I could be invitin’ ye t’tea. Which d’ye think it is?"
Quickly Estlin raised a paw again, pointed a bloodied claw at Tampa, "That," he grinned, joking with himself, "That I would accept."

"That I would accept."
"Well, that's too bad, because we en't got any tea, 'ave we?" By now, Laila was just itching for something to happen.
At that moment, one of the guards, a ferret named Brolla, saw the small group off to the side not working. That, and an otter amongst them who clearly wasn't a slave; not with those knives and clothes, no. "Oi! Who're you, and whatd'you think yer all doin..." She stormed up to them, and trailed off as she saw Estlin. Taking two steps back, she called nervously for the rest of the soldiers, who came over and had similar reactions to the sight of both the wildcat and the very dangerous-looking Rocky. Being in command, it to fell to Brolla to speak. Gulping, she cleared her throat and said, "Ahem, uh, I said who're you!?" She held her spear forward to look in-control, but anybeast observing carefully would have seen her back off a little more and tremble. She was outmatched here, and she knew it.
[[And now the fun begins...]]

Rocky smirked outwardly, but was inwardly getting angrier and angrier. He unsheathed his curved knife fully and held it at his side, his hand curling tightly around the hilt. He looked thiswildcat up and down, checking his opponent if it cameto a fight, which it probably would, and in all honesty, Rocky didn't think he'd win. His smirk died down as the wildcat spoke once more,
"I highly suggest, y'put tha' away. I don' take kindly t'being threatened."
"You highly suggest I 'put tha' away'?" He nearly laughed, but stifled it, then replied, "Me thinks the kitty don't wanna rumble." This time he did laugh, a laugh that was actually more of a chuckle, but still, it was probably going to annoy Estlin, but Rocky still stood his ground, chucling away. "A big brute of a cat like you doesn't like being threatened? I always heard wildcat's were courageous or fearless... Well... Some of them."
His laugh died down and his grip on the blade eased lightly as the guard walked over. The guard, he viewed, was scared, but Rocky also learned that fear could be a disguise used to trick someone into thinking they were afraid then shocking them by fighting them very ferociously.
His gaze left the wildcat and was fixed on the guard as she spoke,
"Ahem, uh, I said who're you!?"
Rocky wasn't afraid of giving his name, for, though they could figure out information about him in the woods, they wouldn't be able to find him, for Rocky doesn't usually stay in one place for long. "Rocky. I come from places beyond the sea." That was, of course, a lie.
Although Rocky felt he could take the guard in a fight, he didn't particularly like fighting two beasts at once, though, on the other hand, maybe the guard would get ripped apart by the wildcat. He quickly put his curved dagger back in his belt, turned to the guard and put his hand behind his head, a sign that he was not going to harm Brolla... yet.
Only the beasts behind him could see what he was doing, and those beasts he felt wouldn't tell the guard, for the only beasts behind him were the slaves, seeing as how Estlin was slightly to his right but also slightly in front of him. What the otter was doing, was actually, predicatable, sorta. His hand slowly creeped down to his shoulder where he kept a few extra knives, but he was shocked when his hand just met his cloaked shoulder, and no throwing knives. Rocky cursed slightly, and his arms quickly dropped to his side and he gripped the hilt of a throwing knife, thrust into his belt, then quickly... dropped it on the ground behind him.
He backed up a step then whispered to the shrew, "Take it." He, however, felt the shrew mght have a weapon, but anyone knew that two weapons were better then one.
It wasn't until after Rocky whispered that he realized the predicament he made: the guard would notice the knife and call more guards to come after him, and not really to his surprsie, Brolla half turned, and then Rocky acted. He pulled out another knife and threw it at her back, then turned to look back at the wildcat to see that he wasn't doing anything... hopefully.
OOC: Tirael, Lorki, Skipp... any of you can tell if the knife hit her or not... I left it open just in case you didn't want him to kill her, lol.

Estlin regularly did not take sides. He killed without much thought and held little respect for hordes beasts- but certainly much more respect then he had for their worthless slaves. He did not respond to Rocky's insult, as his eyes were already on the approaching ferret guard. However his sharp hearing clearly heard Rocky's quiet response to the shrew, and it wasn't difficult to figure out what he was doing.
It was certainly Rocky who decided for Estlin who he would rather tussle with. The large wildcat took a few advancing steps forward, one paw, held behind his back, the other lazily at his side. He had planned to introduce himself to the ferret before acting but... Suddenly there was movement.
Estlin acted just as quickly as Rocky did as he saw the ferret turn. He knew the armed otter would attack- and seeing as the ferret had thus far seemed to offer Estlin the respect (by way of fearing him) that he believed he deserved, she was way up on his list above Rocky. The wildcat swiftly flicked up the latch that held his spear in place and let it fly out in front of his with amazing accuracy that had taken his entire life, thus far, to accomplish.
Spear head met flying knife and both veered off course, clattering to the ground. Estlin rounded on Rocky. "Wha' kinda worthless coward are you?" His ears pressed back, tail lashing back and fourth angrily as his bright eyes looked down at the otter. Nothing could outrage him so much as cheap shots did, stupid primal creatures with no honor. His claws were now quite visible, he barred his fangs. "Why are y'even 'ere, Otter? Wanna play hero? All you're 'bout t'do is make these slaves witness to a good ol' slaughter."

Rocky stared at the spinning knife he previously threw, when movement caught his eye. It was the wildcat, and he immediately turned to see if Estlin was going to attack him, but it wasn't what he thought. The wildcat pulled a spear off his back and got ready to throw and then with amazing accuaracy, the spear was launched and heading towards the same target as Rocky's dagger.
He silently hoped that his weapon would reach first, but it wasn't so. The spear collided with his knife, surely chipping it or basically ruining it all out, for the spear was heavier and was hurled by a stronger force. Rocky was glad that wasn't his curved dagger, but before he could think anymore, Estlin was facing him, clear anger shining in the wildcat's eyes.
"Wha' kinda worthless coward are you?" Rocky kept his cool with the wildcat, but inside he was over and over saying : typical. He'd only met a few decent vermin in his lifetime, and they're his friends right now, and this wildcat was far from decent, to Rocky's eyes.
"If you don't mind me saying, sir," Rocky began, "But I'm no coward." His instincts kept telling him to grab for his sword but he stopped himself, feeling that bloodshed would come later, after their 'talk'. "I believe you're the coward, going to attack slaves. Weak, defenceless beasts? Why must almost all vermin have no honor? I mean... you all attack mercilessly and kill with no remorse. Vermin attack poor beasts, weak beasts, innocent beasts, and what for? For fun?" By now, his voice came to a growl and he took a step forward. "I spit on the likes of you." and with that, he did spit, right between Estlin's feet. "I'm not afraid of you."
Rocky then looked down and looked at the cat's claws, and decided it might be time to get ready and defend himself, thus leading him to drawing his curved shortsword at his side, not liking the odds of being caught up close and in a crowd of innocents fighting with a broadsword.
He held the blade next to his side in a firm grip, and bared his teeth at Estlin, growling lowly.
"Why are y'even 'ere, Otter? Wanna play hero? All you're 'bout t'do is make these slaves witness to a good ol' slaughter."
"I could be asking you the same question." He began again, "But trust me, I won't be the one getting slaughtered."

((Eh... Since Rocky is gone for a bit and that sort of Freezes everyone in place would it be alright if Estlin sort of godmodeishly owned on him, just to get him out of the way so this one can continue?)
