So... its been quite a while now, and no one really has any idea of what direction we're gonna go(as near as I can tell). In fact, with Fleech long since MIA, seems that we hav no plot to speak of. Can we fix this? I'd hate to have to ask santa for a plotline.

lol <3 Well I feel like we should come up with a plot that isn't tii common or that wont be any fun to play... Lemme think on it, I feel something cool rising Edit: See! I told you! I think this is bomb and no other RW site will have something like it. Some thought he was a myth others believed he was dead. But they where all wrong! Long ago, there was a creature who lived off the cost of Mossflower. He was a water dragon of sorts by the name of Slothunog. He was faught by a few brave travellers and killed. But who says he actually died? After seeking refuge for many generations, Slothunog's hate and anger toward the mice that caused his near death experience has fostered and grown. Now, through the use of magic, the mystical water deamon will take control of those who can walk on land and seek revenge on the children and grandchildren of the ones who tried to kill him. M'kay, my thought is that he is immortal when it comes to time but not a weapon (ie vampire) and that he has some magical abilities (like control of others, power over water). I can play him unless someone else really wants him. Anyone can be the decendants of the ones who tried to kill him. I'd also need a few people who he would be controlling (I was thinking some people inside Redwall or trusted travelers who just happened to be passing the cove.) This would be the pirfect opertunity for any of your super goodguys to be evil for a bit without it actually being them So what do y'all think? BTW, I was originaly gonna try to do something with a horse when I came across or Redwall Wiki article about this guy from one of the books (High Rhulian I think) and thought it was otns better!

I'm kind of iffy with magic powers. I know Redwall had spirits and such, but no real magic in it.

Honestly we've all been pushing our own sub-plots (presumably until Skipp gets back and kicks all of us). I also frown upon the whole magic-y thing, but I'm also too mired in schoolwork to really put forth a plot of my own.
Also all my plots end up being traumatic and violent, which most people aren't keen on.

I have a plot, while it may be more of a side-plot but a plot regardless. I'll post it when I get some free time.

Ok, I'm somewhat new to this topic so I was wondering, do we make our own plot for our own characters and they all tie together in the end, or do we just make random plots for our character that has nothing to do with anybody else's plots? And everything we write has to have our character in it, right?

Generally, character plots and site plots aren't the same; most people create their characters without any real plot intended, and those that do usually mesh into the site plot one way or another. And yes, if you post, one of your approved characters has to be in it. You can accompany them with an NPC, but no solitary non-approved characters.

So, I can just write about different things my character does? (to put it vaguely). And it can't take place in/ at Redwall until we have a position there?

You can have your character doing things in/at Redwall.

So my character would just be a creature that lives in Redwall, right? But they don't have a specific position unless I am excepted for one.

Yeah, they can be a creature living at Redwall if you want (they don't necessarily have to be) and yes, you'd have to get accepted for a position if you wanted them to have one.
