Physical Description:
Tareena- known as Ree- is quite a small squirrel. She has a curious mixture of red and white fur. While the majority of her body is covered with a thick layer of dark red, her chest is white. The red part of her fur is slightly dappled with streaks of a paler, almost golden red.Belongings:
Ree's eyes are probably her best feature. Huge and the colour of rich chocolate, they reflect her every emotion, changing in tune with her feelings.
Ree always carries all her belongings with her wherever she goes. She has a small cloth bag which she almost always carries with her.Personality:
Inside the bag she has basic necessities such as food and drinks as well as a small amount of herbal remedies and cloths she uses if she gets hurt (one of her uses for the cloth is as bandages).
She uses her cloak- made of a dark grey, rough fabric- to sleep on and shelter with when the weather's bad. She also carries two swords across her back, one on each side. She's made two slits in her cloak to allow easy access to her weapons when she's wearing the cloak.
Apart from that, she has a spare change of clothes in her bag- dark green long top and a pair of beige trousers- and that's it.
Personality wise, Ree's a gentle, sweet young squirrel. She's a little shy at first but easily warms to people and does her best to help everyone and anyone, she has no discriminations between 'vermin' and 'good' creatures although she has a tendency to trust squirrels the most.History:
Ree trusts others so much that she's almost gullible. She takes things at face value and forgives people almost instantly. She never holds grudges. Despite trusting and caring about everyone she meets, Ree dislikes being among crowds of other animals. She has a severe claustrophobia and hates being anywhere except the forest.
Due to her kindness and small stature, almost no-one would expect her to be an even half-decent fighter. However, Ree knows how to fight with her swords and can easily use the both at the same time in an often-deadly wave of attack. She uses her speed and agility instead of her strength and is extreamly loyal to her friends, up to the point of giving her life for them.
Ree grew up among the forest and was taught by her parents how to survive there. Her mother taught her how to heal herself, what plants are safe to eat and how to stop the different types of weather from killing her. Her father however focussed more on fighting and taught his daughter how to both defend herself and attack others with the two short swords she had. Although she didn't exactly enjoy his lessons and much preferred to listen to her mother, Ree was good at both fighting and surviving peacefully.Code Words: ~Correct~
When Ree was about ten, her home was destroyed. She never learnt who did it but when she got back from collecting some berries for dinner, Ree's parents were lying on the ground around their campsite. Dead. She hadn't known what to do straight away and had spent the night sitting next to her parents bodies, waiting for them to wake up.
When they didn't, the young squirrel packed a small bag of belongings and left her parents dead bodies. She didn't want whoever who had killed her parents to come back and find her. From that day forwards, Ree kept near her old home, finding new places to stay but never too far away from there, she visited the place her parents had died at once every year, their bodies were gone the first time she went back and, although she presumed they'd just rotted away, sometimes she wondered if they'd been moved.
As time went by, Ree began to go further and further away from her parents resting place. As she explored unknown territory, she gradually became lost until she had no idea how to return to the area that had been her home for years. With no idea where she was going, she just kept moving forwards.
