Age: 33
Birthplace: Western Mossflower
Gender: Male
Species: Adder
Job/Position: Master of the Winds Cast
Physical Description:
An average-sized snake for his species, Aeolus's scales are an unnatural inky black as the result of melanism. His eyes are dark as well, split by a thin, slightly lighter pupil. His body is coated with scales hard enough to protect him from glancing blows and some lighter blows. His long fangs are rarely used in battle, as he prefers to keep his venom from being wasted on unimportant cases. He instead relies upon fear to demoralize his enemies, and uses his head and tail to fight if need be. To contain the poison, his head is flattened, holding poison sacs that can bring almost instant death if put into play.Belongings:
Nothing.Personality:
Perhaps it is natural that Aeolus is cruel - after all, most adders are vicious beasts who would kill without a backwards glance. Aeolus isn't terribly different. However, unlike most of his species, he can get along with other creatures, and this is how the Winds Cast was formed. This was also a way to earn valuable treasure, and he quickly accepted it. He's not greedy, but if he can get his paws - scales? - on gold, then he'll take it. He's not terribly short-tempered, but any uselessness on the part of his Guardians can make him rather irritated. He doesn't make empty threats most of the time, but he's not going to try to kill his Guardians if they don't complete a mission to his liking, even though he does threaten them. Instead, he'll complete some of the mission by himself - he likes to be out in the field. He can be polite at times, preferring to conceal his true nature behind a shield to confuse his opponents. He's very blunt and impulsive, saying exactly what's in his mind instead of skirting around the subject with verbal trickery. He has a healthy hatred for anyone who tries to trick him with a silver tongue.History:
Strengths:
-Venom; adders use this for defense and Aeolus is no different, this has saved him in many situations,
-Intelligent; Aeolus knows how to use other creatures to get what he wants, and while he doesn't actually manipulate the Winds Cast, he could if he wanted.
Weaknesses:
-Impulsive; sometimes this can get him into trouble, especially when he says something aggressive to someone much stronger then him.
-Blunt; instead of phrasing something in a way that makes another more likely to accept it, he'll come out and say exactly what he means, which is usually stupid.
-Cruel; despite his alliance with the Winds, he is vicious towards others most of the time.
Born somewhere in Western Mossflower, Aeolus's brother, Ophion, was better then him at most things, and his sister Wadjet was a loner. However, Ophion was mainly a coward, and Aeolus was often forced to fight Ophion's battles for him. As they grew, Ophion formulated a new plan - to take over Mossflower, as 'no woodlander could stand against a serpent's glare'. He put this plan into action by recruiting Wadjet and Aeolus. Their first mission was killing a small tribe of otters, but only two were defeated in the end. The serpent venom was potent, but they couldn't get too near the armed otters, and when Wadjet became overly excited and attacked, she was quickly slain. At this point, Aeolus abandoned his brother and vanished into the forest. Ophion didn't hear from him for a while, and when he returned, the two brothers faced off in a death match, which Aeolus eventually won.Code Words: [CORRECT]
Afterwards, Aeolus decided to build up his own army in the form of the Winds Cast. This was built up of four birds of prey which he had recruited from the best he could find and four common carrion crows, which he trained. The crows were a valuable part of the Cast, and coupled with the birds of prey, only a select few could beat them. After this, Aeolus began accepting missions and sending the Cast out to complete them. Right after the last member of the Cast was recruited, Boreas Swifteye the Northwind, the Cast was almost killed in a mission involving two grass snakes and Boreas had to save them. Aeolus had almost gotten involved in this. Since then, he has been simply commanding the Cast to gain rewards from his employers.
