Elicia is a tall, lean hare. She's got the look of someone who's marched all her life, and worked hard. She has long arms and legs, and she has long ears, too. She always wears her Long Patrol tunic, with her black belt and sword strapped to her side. Elicia has big brown eyes, and light fur that is quite short. Her tunic is always smart and official, and is never soiled or wrinkled before she puts it on. Elicia's paws and arms have constant cuts on them, although she never knows where exactly she got them. Her expression is usually one of either harsh command or friendly hare.

Elicia is a swordsbeast-she uses a basket-hilt sword with razor sharp edges, that she carries on a black leather belt. She is immensely proud of her sword, as it was given to her by her father.

Lieutenant Colonel (Long Patrol)

Personality:

Elicia is tough. She's completely dedicated to the Long Patrol, and she'll do whatever it takes to move up in the ranks. She's fast and loyal, and always fights for good. However, if something irks her, or if someone makes an unreasonable request of her, then she will not carry it out. She will openly disobey higher-ranking officer's orders if she feels they are not in the name of justice and honor.
That brings us to another point. Elicia is very big on honor, courage, and compassion, blah blah blah. She's true-blue to the end, and she'll fight to the death for her comrades. If need be, she would make a lone stand against vermin-but she tries to avoid that. She is harsh to young patrollers, but she cares about them.
Elicia is also very funny. She's quite a wit, and often got in trouble for her sharp tongue when she was young. She can crack you up-but also slam you back down to earth with a few stern words. She's very nice to those who befriend her, but she's as tough as she has to be towards the young hares of the Patrol. She doesn't complain over wounds, and is like a block of iron-she won't bend or break.

Eli's very, very proud of her position. She's high-and-mighty around lesser officers, and won't talk to them if there is anyone important around. She says she can't talk to them because she's so busy. She's very proud at how young she is and the position she holds, but she does talk to them whenever they're resting, or she isn't busy. She's not THAT mean.
Also, Eli is afraid of water. She can't swim, and REALLY doesn't want to. She was pushed in as a joke when she was young and almost drowned. Ever since, she openly avoids all boats and seafaring trips.

History and Background Information:

Elicia is a Salamandastron hare born and bred. Her parents were swordbeasts in the Patrol, as were their parents before that. Her parents often said to her that swords were in her blood, and that she was destined for something great. (But don't all parents say that?) Elicia got into the Patrol at the youngest age possible, and she worked her way up to Lieutenant Colonel. She's still striving, however, for higher, and more glorious, ranks. When she was a child she heard of far away places from her parents, and this, in part, inspired her to join the Patrol. Also, she was nearly drowned at a very young age, and that created a morbid fear of bodies of water. She likes baths-but not anything bigger.

Elicia is a respected swordsbeast among the patrol. She's not as good as some of the legendary hares, but she is still practicing and working towards it.
