The subject of this roleplay is the Redwall Series. We did not make up the concept. All credit goes to Brian Jacques.

Redwall has fallen. Now the beloved abbey is overrun by vermin headed by a cruel leader, N’Tashi the stoat warlord. Woodlanders are slaves, and the rebellion that was lead at the beginning of the invasion was squashed quickly. All who remember the old Redwall are long in tooth and gray in fur. It has been almost forty-one years since the invasion. N’Tashi the Cruel did not take the abbey, but worked his way up in rank until the old warlord was poisoned, and the horde became N’Tashi’s by brute force. Trifle
Meanwhile, the lord of the mountain is having dreams of a vast horde. He dreams of a warrior mouse clad in armor, vermin, and the mouse opens his mouth to speak, but the badger lord never hears him, because he wakes up.
Far away, at Salamadastron, a pair of squirrels, one an old-time member of the Long Patrol, arrive at Salamadastron to bring the plight of the woodlanders to the Badgerlord's attention. They call apon the old bond between the two and ask for help.
Now they march on Mossflower, bringing hope and determination in their wake.
