"I'm goin' out for awhile, mateys. Be back around... twilight? Bye." Gulls Tilk just couldn't stand the noise in camp any longer: Koleen singing, Travis chatting too loud with Shante, Yurol's ottercordian playing (which was not very good for one to stay), and Terullem talking a bit too loud while cooking. The sea otter just had to get away from the chaos for just a little bit while the sun was still right above his head. He looked over to his right and saw some flowers at the verge of blooming and to his left were baby trees looking strong; how he loved spring. But with spring also comes the warmer weather. Now he didn't hate the warm, he just didn't enjoy the uncomfortable feeling of the humidity. At least there was a breeze today.
Gulls kept walking until he was at least a mile from camp. No more noise, no more problems, no more squad. He loved his squad but they were too much lately. The otter looked ahead and saw a small clearing with a log on its side and a tree overhead it and a couple bushes nearby it. Loving his luck for such a nice place to chill at, he hurried his pace. He wanted to just lie back and enjoy some berries of some sort that perched on the bushes.
Gulls Tilk entered the clearing and he firstly strolls over to the bushes. He stared at the plump blueberries and unconsciously brought out his dirk. He picked one single berry and poked a very small hole into it. Eyeing the ooze that came out, he noticed no sign of poison. He thanked his father in his head for teaching him such tricks. Gulls plucked a bunch of berries and strolled over to the log and sat down. He tossed a berry in his mouth savoring the taste and juice. He leaned back against the tree right behind him and sighed, ".....The good life....."
