At this point in time, as I understand it, there are only the forces led by Fleech Hunter's Jukra Mahl and the crew of Skipp's Lorna. There are other vermin characters floating about, but they're tied to different roots.

You could roleplay as a member of the dispersed horde of the late N'Tashi, who fled after losing the decisive battle at Redwall. A soldier in need of a leader, as it were, and then use that opportunity to roleplay your joining of one of the factions.

I would like to do a Vermin leader, if I may? What species are exactly allowed?

It depends on what sort of leader you're talking about. Jukra already has quite a large horde, I'd rather not have another horde leader running amok in Mossflower. Particularly after the plot we just finished, Mossflower country is rather empty of major marauding bands. Jukra's moving in from a ways outside Mossflower.

We are in need of settlement leaders and such, if you're interested. You can find the species list in the Guidance board, which is where you can find anything you need to know.

I was thinking of a sorta rival for Jukra and an enemy against Redwall.

I can make my guy into a smaller marauder, if you'll like.

Then again, until I realized that the Salamandastron thing was a link, I was going to make a schizophrenic badger lord.

I don't know what order to do this. Do I make my character first and say that the am, say, Squirrel Queen, but how would I really be that character, and what would my role be if I was the Squirrel Queen?

First you make your character, and you'd probably want to role play and become known before you apply for a position, then if the admin thinks you're qualified you get it.
