So things are a little slow around here. Anyone have any ideas for perking it up? Perhaps some water? Oh wait, that only works with plants.... hm.
Throw your ideas in here, we'll mix them together and see what results!!

Well, I'm not great at plot lines, but I'll see what I can come up with. Forgive me if they're not any good. It's 1:09 AM over here. Let's see . . . We've already done the whole "Fall of Redwall" thing, but perhaps we could do something like "Rise of the EvilOverlordWhoHasHisOwnFortress" thing?
Hidden deep within Mossflower, a horde of vermin have been forcing innocent woodlanders to build an evil fortress, and the warlord is running out of slaves. And then, he hears the legends of Redwall abbey . . .
Or, perhaps something's goin' down at Salamandastron? Miles south of the mountain, along the western coast, three vermin explorer ships have wrecked on the shores after a terrible storm. Their leader (a conquistador-esque villain) has ordered his crews to search the land for treasures. Soon, they come upon the fortress of Salamandastron. A spy from the vermin horde (probably one of the slaves who rowed their boats) reports that he has seen beautiful weapons and armor being crafted within the stronghold . . .
Nope, we don't have to use these ideas. I'm just throwing stuff out there to help get things started. God bless, all! Jan

Also, our position's list is quite bare, and I'm tired of us all NPCing important characters. If we don't get this fixed soon (and already accepted characters can still apply!!!) Martin will just pick at random. You don't want a mouse for a badgerlord, do you? So volunteer already!

A mouse as Badger Lord would be sort of hilarious, but I see your point. XD
Well... my rabbitmaid is WAY too young to hold a position of high importance, at least not before getting a little more established. I did set my hare as a colour sergeant, though.
As to plots - a B Plot that might work is just a little band of thieves. I have a character I haven't applied for here, a fox raised by the Guosim (so I need to work things out with Jan first, I think). The fox's backstory was that he was abandoned as a kit and found by the shrews - but the truth is that his mother, the bandit leader's mate, was fleeing after a failed raid and took a gamble by leaving him where woodlanders would find him, realizing they would look after a helpless infant and intending to steal him back later. The fox, Firk, is now seventeen, and his mother is scheming to take him back and use the Guosim as pawns in her thieving.

Humm..Well, Nikki's little idea could be interesting. I could see Odie maybe popping in there for the fun of it, but we could also come up with an idea based on the PM I sent you Skipp..depending on what you thought of it that is...

Ah, sorry for the delay on that, Odie. The general consensus is yes. Hm, maybe something more focused on Salamandastron? We've done the Mossflower thing, so now time for a seashore plot? Maybe like Jan suggested? Or a band of thieves, as Nikki suggested?

Thanks Skipp! I'll start working on posting him up!
And with that in mind, I was thinking now that we would have a 'Champion' ( in training) that Roman (the Champion) could have repetitive dreams from Martin telling about a problem (maybe Salamandastron or somewhere) away from the Abbey?
