Physical Description:
Not the most impressive of brocks, Grael is actually a small specimen of badger-kind.Belongings:
He is rather thin and lean, more wiry sinew and brains than brute strength and muscles. Grael barely hits the shoulder of a full grown brock.
Grael can be seen in a homespun cloak and a woven barkcloth tunic. He has a leather belt made from the skin of an eel he fished up. Often his head is covered with a straw hat.
A lance is always at paw. Being not of the strong burly kind, Grael doesn't like having his opponents close to him, so he keeps them away. Javelins and other long range weapons are his specialty.Personality:
Meeting Grael, he seems like an average badger. However, in his mind, things are in turmoil...History:
Grael has multiple personalities. One is a pure black badger that resides in his mind that is malevolent. He has his own little minions to plant ideas in Grael's head.
The other is a pure white badger. She embodies good, and like the black badger, she has her creatures to give Grael's mind a push.
Grael also has a dose of Obsessive Cleaning Disorder. Everything has to be perfect.
Strengths: Switching personalities may go well, extremely intelligent
Weaknesses: Switching personalities may go bad in the wrong positions, small, doesn't like dirt, insects, etc, or even people getting close to him most of the times.
Grael was born in a sett in Southsward. However, soon after he was born, disaster struck.
A vermin band killed his parents and then proceeded to enslave Grael. Grael spent most of his early years in captivity.
During those years, a crippled owl, who was also a captive, taught him many things. Grael had often seen the vermins practice with their weapons, so he picked up on that quickly with his keen mind.
However, one day, Grael suffered an accident which addled his mind. The badger began seeing things, and seems slightly insane to some. Multiple personalities develop when he has to go between the life of a scholar to the owl's wisdom and the abuse of his captors, as most mental disorders develop. Abuse also led to his small size.
One time, he switched to the black badger personality and managed to escape, leaving the owl behind to torture. He had no idea he had done this, but was confused as he woke up in a shady glen far without chains.
So then, a family of voles housed him until he was strong enough to leave by himself.
