Appearance: Nik is stocky, short, but powerfully built. Spiked fur on his head sticks out from a bright green headband. Tan fur that fades into almost a honey-blonde color on his paws covers his body, and it's almost as spiky as his headfur. He has light brown eyes, almost gold. His tail was cut to almost half its length in a vermin attack when he was younger. The end is no longer bandaged or lumpy and tender, and it healed rather well. He wears a short green vest and a brown belt.

Belongings: Nik carries a rapier, his favorite weapon, a sling and a pouch of slingstones.

Job or Position: Nik is the Logalog of the Guerilla Union of Shrews in Mossflower

Personality: Nik is a high-energy and fearless leader. He can be a bit reckless at times, owing to the fact that he doesn't have much experience in leadership. He never backs down from a fight, no matter how impossible the odds. He is a loyal friend and is always the first in the charge and the last in the retreat, as a good Logalog should be.

History and Background Information: Nik has always been a leader, though a bit hesitant. He grew up on the rivers of Mossflower, and was learning to paddle ever since he was strong enough to hold an oar. He was also considered rather good-looking by most of the Guosim maids. However, he never tried courting any one girl, telling his father that he never found "all that he was looking for in a mate" in any of the females. Even though he was the son of the Logalog, he never expected special treatment, and never got any. His father believed that all shrews were equal, and nobeast (save for the wounded, infants, and elderly) deserved any special perks. And now, even as Logalog, Nik doesn't reserve any special treatments or perks for himself. Nik became Logalog when his father was killed in a vermin attack, the same attack that Nik lost half his tail in. He sort of became Logalog after this, for it was his right, but he never accepted the position fully, claiming that he was too young. Finally, after his 21st birthday, he took the position officially, after the elder shrews convinced him that it was his right. Since then, Nik has kept his tribe on the rivers, hardly ever making them walk on land except to stop for camp. He's frequented several Mossflower otter holts, believing the otters are kin, since shrews and otters both love the water. He became an excellent swimmer after nagging his otter friends to teach him to swim. His mother made up many paddling shanties for the Guosim, and Nik has inherited her gift. He's constantly making up new songs for the Guosim to keep pace with each other during paddling.

Any other details: Nik's had his eyes on a few pretty Guosim maids, but he's never pursued any one girl.
