Age: 32 seasons
Species: White-Tailed Sea Eagle
Gender: Male
Appearance: Halvor is a giant of a raptor who stands as tall as a full grown male badger ((at least, anatomically they would be, how do you guys measure your birds? Is this acceptable?)) and with feral talons more dangerous than any spear or blade. It's not often a creature sees one of his kind and lives, but his specific seafood diet keeps him from messing around with other beasts much. The majority of his feathers are are a dusky dark brown while the longest of his tail feathers are pure white. From his belly and around his back the darker feathers lighten up to an ashen gray color which is lightest on the back of his neck and upon his head. Not quite as distinct like a bald eagle, but a defining trait all the same. His eyes are large fierce orbs surrounded by a yellow rim that follows down to his deadly beak. They glint a odd sort of hazel brown color with a dark rim inside the yellow.

Job or Position: Fierce warrior of an eagle clan far to the north.
Personality: Halvor has the fierce personality of a trained warrior. He is serious, calculating, filled with a need to do battle and, when wronged, a lust for vengeance. His people grow to learn only a code of honor for warriors and that an eye for an eye is not just a saying, but a way of life. Due to this Halvor grew knowing only duty and honor and the smell and taste of bloodshed. So many seasons of skirmishes between clans and feuds fought for generations has made him a stone-cold, no-nonsense leader among warriors and protector of his family name. At times he can seem so closed off that all he knows, all he can understand is fighting. And some might think that to be true. But below the very thick shell Halvor has a softer side, one that revolves around the respect and loyalty to family and the bond between brothers in arms. Halvor would do all he could to protect those who either show him kindness or accompany him into battle, to him, there is no greater honor then repaying a debt and proving that you are willing to give your life for one of the few you choose to trust. It just takes a while to see that he's more than just slaying and proving one's mettle in battle.
History and Background Information: Halvor was born and raised far away in coastal mountains on an island off the Mossflower northern coast. Separated from the mainland, great clans of eagles claimed the island for their own, laying claim to the best of territories they could manage. But the clans were fierce and quick to anger and soon battles erupted between them over territory, rookeries and breeding rights. Like pampered royal families they bickered, and like the most powerful of warrior clans they fought amongst themselves, feuds forming between the most hated while alliances formed between those who grew with similar ideals and wants.
This was the environment Halvor was born and raised in. It was learn quick or perish on the small island, and so Halvor did as only one of his bloodline could. He grew, he learned, and he fought.
Over the seasons his family, the Highguard, fought most bitterly with the Skyking clan. The Skyking's at first were to be an alliance, their families merged through the uniting of Halvor's older brother, Hakon. Hakon was to wed and mate to the Skyking's eldest daughter, Valdis, but the wedding would never take place. Upon visiting the Skyking clan to seal the bargain, Hakon and his greeting party were viciously murdered, they bodies mutilated and strewn upon the rocks bordering their territory. Enraged at such a cowardly act, the Highguard family reacted swiftly, Halvor leading a war party to lay waste to as many Skykings as was possible.
In the dead of night the Highguard lef their attack, leaving many Skykings dead. This exchange ignited the start of a blood feud that would go on for as long as Halvor lived. Many times he led war parties to battle against the Skykings, and many times they were attacked as well. On one such occasion, Halvor took a large war party based on information given to him that the Skykings had become ill-prepared for a battle due to previous injuries. Hoping to eradicate the family at last, Halvor was swift to react. But he took almost all f his family's warriors, leaving his home almost completely unprotected. When he found the Skyking rookery empty, he knew immediately it had been a trick. Rushing home, he arrived just in time to see the last of his family slain by the Skyking clan. A vicious battle ensued, one which ended badly for both families, but worse so for the Skykings who had underestimated the wrath of their enemies.
Enraged and with nothing left to lose, Halvor took a talon-full of his remaining warriors to pursue the fleeing Skykings and end the feud once and for all. That is what has brought him to Mossflower. Many days and nights he pursued his injured enemy, Halvor himself injured and half-exhausted. But he would not relent, not even when two of his warriors died of exhaustion and the other two drifted further and further back as each day passed. But he would not give up, he had vengeance to seek, a deed to complete.
Little did he know that for the last two weeks, all he'd been chasing was a fever dream. The last of the Skyking clan succumbed to their injuries several miles back, but Halvor had lost sight of them and instead chose to continue pursuit. Alone, lost, injured and fevered, the exhausted eagle has tread into Mossflower territory.
Territory which might kill him if he doesn't rest and tend to his injuries soon.
