Ezekiel is slightly shorter than the average ferret, about 5'8". He is slim and agile. His fur is coppery brown around his front but gets darker with streaks of black on his back. His tail is thicker than most ferrets and he can use it rather like an otters rudder in the case of swimming and delivering light blows.
Ezekiel's eyes are green like leaves. They are sharp and attentive, rarely missing anything. His ears are very small, meerly tufts fo fur on the side of his head. His arms and chest bear evidence of past battles in the form of a few scars. He also has a few tatoos.
Ezekiel's paws are very tough, due to torch spinning, a sport he used to compete and win at. He still has a knack for it and will occasionaly practice.
Ezekiel is left pawed but has worked with his right paw so much that he is practically ambidextrous. This is often useful in fighting because hardly anyone is aware that he is this way.

Clothing: Ezekiel often goes bare chested but since he dosn't control the weather and it can often get cold he also has a loose white open necked shirt like those worn by sailors. He also wears brown breeches that reach to just below his knees. Though usually barepawed he does have a soft leather pair of moccasins and a pair of boots made of the same material. He also wears a tattered red sash wear he stashes his sling and curved dagger. A cracked leather belt strapped over his shoulder and chest serve to hold the sheaths for his two machetes.
Ezekiel usually wears a white bandana tied over his brow like a band. On occasion he will retie it so that it covers his whole head in a classic pirate fashion.

Personality:

Ezekiel has a real buccaneer/rouge air about him. He likes to act carefree and confident, though he often isn't. Despite his slightly small size he is very brave adn not all bad. He won't fight an unarmed beast usually and does have a loose set of morals. He is often reckless and foolish but always manages to come up with a plan to get himself out of trouble. His plans are often fantasticlly impossible but those that aren't usually work well.
Though Ezekiel dosn't consider himself a caring best he will stick up for his friends and even more for himself. He is a bit selfish and will rarely share anything unless he has a great abundance of it.

History and Background Information:

Ezekiel was born in a small vermin clan that lived along the River Moss. They hunted for teh food and lived farily decent lives. Ezekiel was the oldest of 10 kids, the children of Slenka (mother) and Blaise (father). Blaise was fairly high in the ranks of the clan and well respected for his hunting abilities. He trained to Ezekiel to hunt as well as himself, starting when Ezekiel was five. Ezekiel also learned the clan sport of torch spinning. There where competitions going on all the time to see who could spin more torches, or spin faster, or spin standing on their heads.

After many years of only small fights, and prosperous living, the clan was attacked by another vermin badn and search of food and loot. Abot half the clan was killed while the other half run away. None of them eally knew how to fight well so their opptions where limited. Ezekiel was among those who ran away, along with 7 of his siblings.

After escaping the animals who lived wandered off by themselves mostly. No one had the drive to try and bring the clan back together, or the stregth to rule them all. This ment everyone pretty much went their seperate ways. Ezekiel headed toward the seashore in search of an easy life of fishing. What he found instead was Salamandastron and the fierce hares who lived there. He was immdediently branded as evil along with all other vermin. The resulted in a lot of running and hiding from warriors who knew how to fight a lot better than he did.

Eventually Ezekiel got a job aboard a small pirate ship. He learned the basics of fighting and sailing. He was good at it but the small ship wasn't very strong and when it ran aground on a reef there was no saving it. Ezekiel ran away to avoid working on what he knew was a lost cause.

Once again he was recruited to a pirate ship, this one much stronger and larger. The captain was a powerful ferret like Ezekiel, who was on the brink of starting his own fleet of ships. It was on this ship that Ezekiel really thirved. He learned more about fighting and sailing and became excelent at both. The captain of the ship took him in as her personal aid and confident. Ezekiel ascened the ranks of the ship steadily as he learned more and more. Soon he was the bosun, and a trusted crew member.

But in his quest for power the ships captain had made quite a few enemies. These enemies grew tired of him and finally saw the sense in banding together to get rid of him. And so they did. Five captains with a deep rooted hatred for the captain came together and plotted against him. And then the acted. It happened one night when the sip was anchored in a small cove, and about to be beached for repairs. Ezekiel was leading a foraging party to look for food and potential targets. That's the only reason he survived.

The red glow above the trees is what brought Ezekiel and the rest back toward the shore. Fortunatly they where stopped just before the could get there by one surving crew member. He told them the story and urged them to go back.

When N'tashi's recruiting parties came along their offer seemed pretty good. Ezekiel and most of the remaining crew joined his army and swore to serve him. That's where Ezekiel is now.
