Appearance:
Lyka SwiftwindAge: 17 years old
Prefers to be called by her last name.
Species: Red Squirrel
Gender: Female
Appearance:
At only 5 feet and two inches... Swiftwind is a small squirrel. She doesn't really have that much strength behind her built which is very lithe and slender. although she does have speed. Which is why she likes to go by her last name... among other reasons.Belongings:
Swift's fur is a pale honey color. Unlike that of most squirrels. She only has the normal coloring at the end of her tail. It was a trait among her family, that may unfortunately be stopped at her. Swiftwind'd eyes are a pretty dark brown and almond shaped.
She wears only a deep red cloak that almost swamps her whole body. It keeps her warm very easily in cold weather and in warm weather it can easily be taken off. She also wears an old dented gold circlet on her head. It once belonged to her father... but since he's no longer around she takes the liberty of keeping it. As in the case of regular clothes... all she has is a slightly tattered white shirt. It usually isn't visible though because of her overly large cloak.
She has a gold circlet worn on her head and a deep red cloak that she wears. Although, it's too big for her.Job or Position:
Weapon wise she has a whip kept on her by a thin rope. She's quite good at using it and could easily be one of the best in all of Mossflower. She also carries a small dagger with her, it's always hidden under her cloak unless she's about to use it.
She's just a wanderer.Personality:
Despite her small size Swift can have a fiery temper. She won't let anyone take advantage of her or boss her around. It'll make her likely to snap. It's a pet peeve of hers... she can't help it.History and Background Information:
Swift also has a nice and sweet side. Especially for dibbuns. She just loves them and would go out of her way to help them. She'd play any game they could ever think of and she'd find any sort of way to amuse them.
What people see most though is her tough side. She tries to show the world that even though she's small she can take just as much as anyone else. She doesn't like for people to go out of their way to help her and would much prefer people not to help. Unless she absolutely needs it. Which she doesn't consider often.
Born in Mossflower wood to her mother, Chestnut and father, Raziel. She was the only child and fussed over quite a lot... you could even say she was spoiled. Her father was a very rare squirrel. The reason being, his fur was paler than any other red squirrel's and she had inherited that trait from him. She had also inherited his light build made for speed. Thus, the reason why he and those before him had been given the name "Swiftwind". It was quite an honor to be born with both traits.Any other details:
Her father taught her how to use a whip which was the family's signature weapon. It was a dangerous wood now that the vermin had taken over and she had to know how to take care of herself. Chestnut had been taken to the fort previously and it was obvious that they had most likely killed her... Raziel didn't want the same thing happening to his daughter.
One day, Swiftwind was out exploring on her own. Unknown to her vermin came to their house and killed her father. Upon her return she found her father dead and his two most prized pocessions gone: his cloak and the circlet he always wore...
Swift could feel her anger boiling over and she took off after the tracks the vermin left. It didn't take long for her to find them. It was three weasels and a ferret. It must have been the leader for on its head it wore the circlet and billowing around him was the cloak.
Swiftwind stalked them for days on end. Picking off a vermin or two when she could and hiding in the trees until only the ferret traveled alone. She went out and battled him in open combat. She almost didn't win but eventually got the better of him because of the superb whip skills her father had taught her. From that day forward she had been trying to forge out a life for her by being a wanderer.
She never strays far from her circlet. She believes it's the only tie to her father that she has. When she's sleeping she takes it off her head and sleeps while holding it close to her chest.Code Words: -correct-
