Shuguru is a large badger. Despite his towering size, he has very gentle features. He has one main stripe down his back that is a pure, jet black. There is one more stripe on either side of the black one, each a little lighter. He had huge yellow eyes that are kind and loving. He wears a specially tailored red tunic with an orange cord for a belt. He nearly always has a book in paw or under his nose. He has even been known to read and walk simultaneously. He has the obviouse age lines along his muzzle and three long scars along the right side of his face. These scars where obtained many many years ago and they have started to fade. Fur has also started to grow over them. He has receintly taken to wearing a bright blue scarf over his eyes because he beleives the mangled sockets will frighten the dibbuns.Belongings:

Shugaru is a very strong badger, both mentaly and physically. Despite his size and strenght, he dislikes fighting at all costs, mostly because of what it has caused him. He has come to terms with his blindness and finds the darkness almost comforting now. He enjoys spending time int he kitchen but can rarely be seent here durring busy times because his size is a burden to the other cooks. He does anything he can to help and care for others.History and Background Information:
Shuguru was born a piece-loving badger and it wasn’t his fault he was born with such size and brute strength. He lived for many a year in peace with his loving family until one season, his den was attacked by a horde of loner vermin. At nineteen years of age, the badger had never touched a weapon. But when both of his parents (cought by surprize and unable to fight back) where brutaly murdered by the scum, Shuguru took up his fathers ax and struck down most of the vermin. Many of them fled when the saw that this badger resisted the attack and was actually winning. In an attempt to still reign victorious, the leader of the pack stabbed out the feirce badger's eyes with a spear leaving him blind(and dangerous). be sheer accedent, the wounded and pained badger sat on the rat, killing him instaintly. The rest fled.
After attempting to nurse himself back to health, an even that didn't go so well resulting horrible scaring and mutilation of his eyes, the badger decided to leave his home. He struggled onward, trying to get a hold of this new life of darkness. By chance, a few hares found him and took him back to their home, a mighty fortress mountain known as Salamandasteron.
The hares helped to fix his eyes as much as they could. With their help, the constaint pain had stopped and some of the scares had started healing. Of course there was vertually no chance for sight ever again. Shugaru lived in this mountain for a few years, helping the hares and keeping things tidy until eventually he decided it was time to leave.
He spent quite a few years living with a few family of voles in Mossflower woods. He loved the tiny creatures with all his heart and protected them mostly with his sheer size and frightening looks. Not to long ago, however, heard about a wonderful place known as Redwall Abbey. He traveled to the Abbey and has found it very much to his liking; he has decided to stay. He finds the place peaceful and loves to spend time with the dibbuns and rebuilding the broken walls of the fortress. He hopes that he will die a happy old badger in a peaceful and loving place.
