Join is a handsome squirrel. He has warm brown fur that shines in direct sunlight. His tail is brighter than the rest of his body, being closer to a maroon than a chocolate, and small brown eyes. His face has no laughter lines, just a hint of a few worry lines around the eyes. He doesn't laugh often.

He wears a simple tunic after seeing the hares in Salamandastron on one occasion-it is light brown and without any decoration. He keeps his quiver of arrows across his back along with his bow unless he has camped down for the night. He rarely smiles or laughs, but when he does he is very attractive. His laugh is soft and kind, and his smile is fatherly and loving.

Belongings:

Join's prize possessions are his bow, quiver, and arrows. They are made of fine wood, and are perfect for a squirrel of his size.

Job or Position:

Wandering archer. He stays for a while with the different goodbeasts that he meets on his travels, but inevitably moves on again. He travels alone on most occasions.

Personality:

Join is a quiet squirrel. He grew up in a big family, and so, being the youngest, was never listened to for an extended period of time. He always referred to his brothers or sisters for advice and choices, so when he left the drey he automatically looked to his companion, Serim, for all decision-making. He's very kind, however, and little babes make him laugh a lot. He's more attractive when he's smiling-when he's not he looks to serious. He has a soft laugh that sounds like ringing bells, and his smile is kind and fatherly. However, he doesn't really smile or laugh often, being a more serious beast than some. However, he is looking for a wife because he is lonely around all of the other beasts who are talkative. He wishes he had a family and

Join is a skilled archer and tracker from his years in the woodlands. He uses his skills to track down vermin in the woods so that he can avoid them. He doesn't like killing at all. He takes no pleasure in it at all, and only does it when absolutely necessary.

Join is very, very quiet. He is loyal and dependable, but he tries to avoid making decisions for himself. He much prefers someone else to do it for him, and always looks to his companions, even if they are younger than him. He won't say much in his own defense if accused of a deed, and will take punishment without a complaint. He just doesn't stand up for himself at all.

History and Background Information:

Join's drey was located in a small grove of trees near Salamandastron. They were peaceful, but it was a tradition among them that the youngsters go out to wander at about 25 and return home at 30, so as to become more worldly-wise and a productive member of the drey. Join snuck out at 23, unable to wait two more years, and has been wandering ever since. He decided that he was never going back, but instead was going to join a different drey where he wouldn't be known as the little brother to everyone. A little ways into his journey he ran into some friends traveled with them for a while since before splitting up. They were extremely talkative, and so he grew quiet so as to listen to their constant jabbering. He let them make the first few decisions as to where they went, but then grew used to it. Now he almost always defers to someone else for decisions.

Although he may seem aloof and quiet, Join is looking for a wife. His perfect girl would be kind and quiet, with a pretty voice and features. She would be deadly and beautiful, and skilled in all sorts of different arts.
