Riven is tall, skinny, and angular. Her eyes are a disconcerting yellowish color, and when combined with her body, she looks quite menacing. Her fur is thin, contributing to her creepy appearance.

As for clothes, Riven wears the standard N'tashi uniform, though with the state of things in the Fort as of late, she has, like most of the soldiers, worn only the more comfortable items, as nobody seems to care about it anymore.

Belongings:

Riven owns her clothes, and although her shield and spear are technically only issued to her by N'tashi, she's not giving them up anytime soon. She also has a plain, rusty dagger.

Personality:

Riven is every bit as unappealing as her appearance suggests. She is conniving, sneaky, and a true backstabber. She's also quite arrogant, believing most of those around her are idiots, especially the slaves. Her only joys are abusing or manipulating others. She's quite good at both, but particularly the latter; she can use flattery to charm someone into telling her their deepest regrets, then use them to get what she wants. After several years working at the Fort, she has dirt on most everyone.

History and Background Information:

Riven was born to two hordebeasts: one an officer, and one just another soldier. However, the officer would have nothing to do with her, and refused to admit she was his daughter. So, Riven was raised by her mother to hate her father, as well as anyone who was above her in rank. She spent her childhood learning how to manipulate others, and in particular a slave about her age, a mouse named Seev.

Up until she was thirteen, Riven allowed Seev to believe he had a friend in her, and as such he told her things he never should have. When she grew bored of this, she turned on him, now getting pleasure out of making him miserable at every turn. Her fun was ended two years later when she was put into formal training to be a soldier.

At the age of 17, Riven was given guard duty. For the next three years, she patrolled the walltops, until her discovery of an impending attack on the eastern wall. She was promoted, and placed in charge of the walltops. She served in this capacity until the day most of the slaves were freed.

After taking a beating for her failure, she was demoted back to a normal soldier. She now spends her time brooding and mentally listing various ways on how to kill her superiors.
