Appearance:

Ephriam is taller than most otters, and more muscular. His fur is broken by pink and black battle scars, evidence of his warrior life. Ephriam's fur is average brown with a darker stripe running from the tip of his strong rudder, along his spine to the base of his neck. His eyes are dark brown with flecks of hazel. Ephriam usually has a bright though slightly silly smile on his face.
His claws are blunt and strong though not very good for slcing things.
Ephriam stands about 6'9" and weighs about 150 lbs. He eats quite a lot but isn't over weight.
Ephriam wears brown pants a dark green sleevless shirt and a dark gray jerkin. His footpaws are clad in soft leather boots that muffle his foot steps effectivly. Around his wrists he wears dark leather wrist gauntlets (like so). He also wears a broad belt from which hang his dirk, sling and stones. His bow and arrows are carried across his back.
For armor Ephriam has a chainmail tunic he wears over his normal clothes, leg greeves and a small round helm embozzeled with a pattern of swords and hammers. The chainmail tunic is made of close knit links that can block almost anything aside from a direct blow. The leg greeves are polished steel as is the helmet. The helmet is also padded along the inside.

Otter in Skip's gang, Moss Warrior

Personality:

Ephriam, as most otters, is fun loving and brave. He is fiercly loyal to Skipper and would gladly give his life to free the slaves of Fort N'tashi. He is a wanderer and warrior at heart, that's why he joined Skip's crew. He jokingly sees himself as a dashing warrior, swooping in to save to damsels in distress. He a a faithful companion and freind ready to serve, though he dosn't mind being served. He is calm in battle and always in the front ranks. He can often be impatinet though.

He hates N'tashi and his vermin whith a passion and is determined to rescue all the slaves, escpecially Dibbuns.
He does have a soft spot for Dibbuns though he rarely sees them anymore.

Though he is a warrior Ephriam is very gentle with the very old and very young. He tries to be patient with his brother (I'll post his bio later) but it can often be hard. He is very protective of his younger brother.

Ephriam has not had a lot of schooling but he can read and write a bit. He is clever though and good with battle strategy.

History and Background Information:

Ephriam was born in a small holt in the south. his mother was a gentle beast named Fallia while his father was a stalwart warrior named Rusco. Ephriam was raised well and taught the ways of war by his father and the ways of peace by his mother. He became a skilled warrior but was not very good at the cooking or sewing his mother taught him.
When his baby brother Toby was born Ephriam was only four but he took it upon himself to take care of the small child and teach him the few things his father had taught him at that age. When Ephriam found out that his brother had been born mute he felt sorry for his brother. But they got along fine, though they somtimes fought.
When Ephriam was about 20 and his brother 16, he took his brother on a two day fishing trip up the coast. They caught tons of fish but returned to find their holt destroyed and their parents dead, killed by searats. Both where shocked and set out to hunt down the sea rats. Unfortunatly they never found them but killed many other sea rats along the way. They then found Skip's crew and joined since they had nowhere else to go or live.
