Appearance:
Age: 27 Years
Species: Ferret
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Braylon is relatively short compared with most Ferrets, being around Five feet and seven inches. Despite not being the tallest, he is a stout creature, and he can back up his taunting with his strength. His fur is the same color as most of his species; dark brown with lighter brown spaces on his under body, ear tips and the tip of his tail. He has the typical "Mask" around his eyes, which are a light, forest green color. He has a tattoo of lightning lashing down his right arm, and he bears several scars, the most prominent of which is on his chest, running horizontally across it, from an enemy's slashing sword. Braylon tends to wear whatever is available to him, but the clothes he wears the most are; a dark green tunic, faded blue corsair pants, with crimson red lines running down the side of each leg. Plus, a heavy black cloak that is patched in places that serves to help block out some rain, keep him warm, and just about any other possible use that comes to Braylon's head. A trademark item that he wears is a necklace of the teeth of several sharks, an adder, and a feather from an Osprey.Belongings:
Braylon sports a deadly saber that he wields with even deadlier accuracy, a set of matching daggers, each with a quartz pommel stone, and a skinning knife that is finely sharpened.Job or Position:
Braylon was a rouge corsair captain, but now he is a wanderer in Mossflower.Personality:
Braylon is confident in his skills, and most would call that confidence just being cocky and having a large ego, both of which are true about him, however. The beasts on his wrong side (Normally confronted with his blade), would say he is ruthless and cold hearted, which is true as well, but only in the presence of his enemies. If any were close to him they would say he is calm and cool whenever a dire situation arises. With the few he trusts, Braylon is honest and loyal, but with all else he remains true to his kind, meaning he would kill those in his way. He has a sarcastic sense of humor and he has made many angry by making those remarks. Braylon is known for his fiery temper which sometimes flashes through, despite his attempts to control it. He is clever, and much above the average as far as brain power goes in his species. Depending on what position he is in, Braylon is highly ambitious, and once he achieves that position he seems to act lazy, but once there is something else to be done, he will snap out of his current frame of mind. The ferret dislikes any beast who dislikes him, especially woodlanders who judge his character by looking at what kind creature he is.History and Background Information:
Braylon was born on the very ship he would eventually command, his father was the feared captain of that corsair vessel, named the Iceblade. His mother was the first mate of the Iceblade, but she was killed by one of the crew, who hoped to take her place at second in command. Up to that point both his father and mother were raising him right, teaching him exactly how to command such a ship, as well as showing the young ferret how to wield a sword. After his mother's death, Braylon's father did not have much to do with his son, becoming colder and more cruel to the crew. When he was seventeen, there was a short rebellion, in which his father was killed and a new beast became captain. For two years that beast commanded the Iceblade, until he was outsmarted. Braylon had risen through the ranks and was then the second mate. He persuaded the captain to leave the ship in his care while the captain explored an island they had discovered. No more than minutes past before Braylon took control without a fight and as the Iceblade sailed away, he yelled to the captain and the small portion of his loyal crew onshore, "Better to use your head than break you back I always say!" Braylon built up a reputation for being a skilled pirate, and was feared among all the others sailing the sea. But he made the wrong gamble when he was twenty-five, attacking a ship that managed to sink his. Most of the crew panicked and jumped on to the skiffs, only to be lost at sea, while Braylon and several others remained, and they survived by hanging on to drifting pieces of wood from the old ship. Then the group of four washed ashore at Mossflower. After fighting for their lives against a determined band of otters living near the cost, only Braylon survived, earning the scar across his chest from the short battle. Now he continues to wander through Mossflower.Any other details:
He is neutral in the struggle in Mossflower.
