Meko has brown fur that flows smoothly over his body. He carries a shortsword strapped to his back, daggers in a broad, thick leather belt, and a regular sword at his side with gold fibers laid into the hilt. The sword slightly curves as it goes upwards and the point is razor sharp. Meko has a muscular build, with sinewy arms and legs, and long powerful muscles on his arms due to all the swimming he does. His rudder-like tail is very powerful and can knock a foe unconscious easily.

Personality:

Very serious, Meko doesn't talk much unless around his best friend Rocky. The two have been lifelong friends, and only Rocky knows Meko's full past. Meko doesn't joke often but if you hang around him a while, you will here him joke at least once. Rocky claims he jokes "once in a blue moon" which Meko always chuckles at. Meko will defend his friends in battle, and basically makes it a goal to be the one who killed most enemies.

Meko has a bad temper and doesnt take criticism well. He can sometimes become a jerk if he feels he is offended, too.

History and Background Information:

At birth, Meko was left out on a river side until he was found by a small family of river otters. The father, a large jolly beast known as Tor was very fair and treated all with respect. Life was easy for Meko, he had many friends, not much work was needed to be done, and Meko was almost never yelled at. Life was good. At least it was until they attacked.

They came in 10 waves of 10. Each hooded, hiding their appearances. They attacked and raided and plundered. Screams rent the air, until they reached Tor's ears. Tor shooed his family out of the house, but too late. Meko's mother was cut down with a harsh scream, and Meko had been standing there, un-able to move due to sheer shock and fear. Luckily, Tor was there. Brandhishing a sword, Tor cut down one beast, then another, and eventually two more fell. Tor grabbed Meko by the collar and dragged him into the woods. Tor turned around only to be shot by an arrow. In desperation, the jovial otter fought on, jumping into the front ranks and hacking viciously. Meko's eyes went cold as he saw his father... his hero... Being taken down to the ground. Then they threw a rope over Tor's neck, and one around his foot, then they pulled in two directions, and Tor's upper body slammed against the ground, hard. Then they grabbed the rope tied to his feet and dragged Tor's body through Mossflower woods, never to be seen again.

Luckily for Meko, he found a hiding spot in which the strang beasts had not found. When he judged the time was safe, Meko came out of hiding and walked back to his home. Teraing off a hood of one of those beasts, it showed a ferret. Another hood was thrown down and it was a ferret. Another and another ws thrown down and they revealed ferrets, until every dead beast's hood was thrown down to reveal ferrets. Meko was emotionally scarred, and just curled up in a ball and sobbed. Just lay there and sobbed.

The next moring, otters were ridding the land of the bodies, and one otter had consistently tried to wake up Meko. Eventually giving in, Meko uncurled himself and looked up into the friendly face of a male otter, around his age. Smiling, the otter hoisted Meko up and introduced himself, "Hi. I'm Rocky." Meko smiled and stood up and just hugged Rocky.

The otters had been together forever, and when they were about 14, they decided to track down the ferrets the killed his mother and took his father away, almost 5 years ago. They started out at Meko's old home, and gathered clues about everything that had been going on around Mossflower that had been odd and not really ordinary. They gathered up enough clues and analyzed their results, and all clues led up to a fort. Waiting until night, Rocky and Meko snuck in there, assassinated the guards then went to the barracks. Upon entry, the two realized that the barracks only housed about 20. This was going to be easy. The otters slit all the throats of every single ferret there then left.

They traveled to a village where they wanted to live out their lives in peace. Unfortunately, several attacks prevented that very dream. Rocky and Meko decided to become warrioars again, and had been together ever since Rocky and Meko first met.
