Zephyr is a well muscled hare with black fur all around. Yep, that's right. Black. The black fur was a mutated gene from one of his parents, and frankly, he loves it. His eyes are dark grey, kind of like the sky on a stormy night.

He wears a black long patrol tunic, because, well... He likes black. A lot. He has many medals on him for bravery, eating contests, duels, you name it.

His legs are long and well muscled, and his arms are muscled as well. He is a thin hare, but thin doesn't make you un-muscled. His ears are of regular size, and his face is slim, with high cheekbones, and according to female hares, he is attractive.

Zephyr keeps two curved sabres strapped in makeshift sheathes on his back, crossed, and he keeps a long dagger in a sheath on the side of his boot.

Inside his jacket, he keeps throwing knives, and two throwing axes.

Underneath his clothing and uniform, he wears black chainmail. He feels that since he is black, everything else on him aside from weapons should be black.

When going into battle, Zephyr has black armor, custom made by Melroch Winterpaw, and he wears a magnificent helmet that fits perfectly, and there is a part over his head that he can pull down to cover his whole face, like a large visor, and it has two slits for his eyes and one slit for breathing.

Basically, you can say, Zephyr is a walking armory.

Zephyr is a very serious hare. He can be a stern type when dealing with rule breakers, but if he makes a punishment "too serious", he feels bad after declaring it. Despite his seriousness, Zephyr can be like a little leveret at heart. He likes to play with young ones, and he also likes to help them train.

On the battle field, Zephyr can sometimes go crazy and in a frenzy, and just start killing, killing, killing.

History and Background Information:

Zephyr was born and raised in Salamandastron.

When Zephyr was 16, he took after his parents and started training even harder than ever before. He proved himself worthy by defeating another hare in a duel and joined as a recruit.

Zephyr found a girfriend at the age of 17. By 17, Zephyr was a corporal, and his cousin was a lieutenant. Zephyr's girlfriend's name was Scarlet. She was called this because she always wore a red uniform and a red rose tucked into a uniform pocket. Scarlet was a private in the Long Patrol.

At age 18, Zephyr was married to Scarlet. A day after their marriage, Zephyr, Scarlet, Jacksaw and about 20 other hares were sent to the shores to investigate a docked ship. Scouts sad they saw 15 corsairs, but when Jacksaw and the troops made it aboard, there were 70 corsairs. Jacksaw, the head of the little platoon, called a retreat as soon as he saw the numbers.

The corsairs had other corsairs hidden, so they cut the hares off on their charge back to the mountain. There were about 15 hidden, so there were about 95 corsairs, and 23 hares. The hares fought gallantly. Zephyr was almost killed, and Jacksaw was dieing. Zephyr dragged over to Jacksaw and dragged him to a rock where they sat. Then Zephyr saw Scarlet. She was limp and unmoving. He crawled over and saw her lieing dead. He brought her to the rock where Jacksaw was. He held them both under one arm. Soon after, about 100 hares came out of the mountain. They saw Zephyr and the 2 other hares with them.

They carried Zephyr, Jacksaw, and Scarlet's limp body back to the mountain. Scarlet was buried and Jacksaw and Zephyr's wounds were treated and after 2 seasons, they were fighting fit. After the galliant fight, Zephyr was promoted to Lieutenant General, and Jacksaw was promoted to Colonel, for he did not want to go any higher. Ever since seeing Scarlet's body, Zephyr changed. He had a lust for battle.

Zehpyr has been with the Long Patrol, ever since.
