Skipper is a rather rough looking otter, it is obvious that he grew up fighting. Scars cover his body and face, one deep gouge comes perilously close to his eye.

Of average height, Skipper is slightly stocky, with no extra weight to him, he can't afford it. His fur is a dark brown with a lighter underbelly and thick, like all otters. His eyes are a dark green-black.

Skipper usually has his sling looped in his belt, but sometimes he loops it loosely around his wrist. He has brass armbands on both of his upper arms. Skipper also usually carries a quiver of javelins on his back and one in his paw.

Skipper is a fierce warrior and a skilled strategist. He's cautious and plans ahead, but is also capable of tossing caution to the winds to rescue anybeast in trouble.

A rough and gruff otter, Skipper doesn't usually show a softer side, the exception mainly being around young beasts. He is determined to free Mossflower during his lifetime. He's very loyal to his friends, " 'ere's me paw an' me 'eart." being a favorite phrase of his.

History and Background Information:

Skipper grew up in a war zone. The first rebellion was squashed by the time he was three years old, and the otters then retreated to Camp Moss. As they took in woodlanders, the underground caverns were expanded by Foremole and her crew. They also created other secret entrances, for the larger creatures who could not fit in the three willows.

Skipper lost his parents at a young are, his mother died a slave, and his father died in a solitary attempt to rescue her.

By the time he was twelve, he was fighting alongside the warriors. He was very popular with the other otters, and when Skipper died in a skirmish, he was voted Skipper. He was twenty five. He also adopted his brother's five year old daughter.

Nothing much has been happening for the last fourteen years, except in the last three years they have been stepping up the rebellion as N'tashi grows older.

Any other details:

Skipper has lost a great deal of his family and holt to the resistance. Some have been killed, like his family, but most are slaves.

He adopted his niece, Tampa Tiderunner, after his brother and his wife died.
He also adopted Tirael, orphaned by the soldiers, a few years after they found him fleeing N'Tashi's soldiers.
